As far as NDA - the product is on the market already. Also, if this beta is indicative of all beta's, then I have no desire to ever do another.

It sometimes seems to take a bit to get connnected, but once it does it works ok. Have used both the built-in telenav and amazegps with it so far.

I wonder how much of it has to do with me being downtown. Not much sky.

I hate the OS on this phone with a passion. What a POS. It's been dumbed down even further than normal.

I was not able to get a DUN connection to work - it seems to connect but after a very long pause it just drops with no information provided.

I was able to get a PAN connection to work with a total internet line. From dslreports and a 400k test:

    Mobile speed test

    649 kbit/sec

    0.556s latency
    5.48s d/l time.

I can't really tell what it's doing under PAN however.

I need a data card instead of this ridiculous joke of a phone. It's shiny bright though. If I was a child I'd be happy with it.

I tried it on another computer that has a trendnet add-on bluetooth I/F which gives you a really squirrelly user interface and I got 140Kb in a somewhat impaired reception area. I suspect that the phone drops back to gsm (edge) readily but there is no way to tell and it might be the weird-o microsoft/trendnet i/f.

I will try the cable interface when I'm calmer.

Well... I tried that first. What EXACTLY did you do to yours out of
the box? Maybe I have one of the extremely limited settings botched.

You wouldn't think something this stripped down would require a how-to
    but there it is.
