I bought a VX8100 on eBay, to replace one that has been stuck on "extended network" for 4 months. (See related thread.)

So I finally got the information from old phone onto Bitpim, and realized I had to port the phone number onto new phone, before I could download from Bitpim back onto the new (but used) phone. I was told the port was completed, by new provider, and tried to call phone number to make sure the new phone worked, but calls do not go through.

The eleven YO in the house picked up the phone and started playing with it. In so doing, the 11YO found the old phone number and some recorded info on it, including a woman asking "Any hot girls?" , and a man's grocery list .

Sooooo. How do I clear all this old information out, so I can get my port to go through and have phone service again?
