Hey all...

I have a Touch PRO and use it on T-Mobile here in the states and the phone is freggin amazing!

I have a G1 on order as well, so we will see how it works out...

AIM is not pre-installed, but MSN is... AIM you can download by going to wap.aol.com and click on products, and a mobile AIM is there...

absolutely beautiful phone...

How can you guys use a Touch Pro on T-Mobile (U.S. I am assuming)?

i did that a bit after i posted! i can use it through wifi (since I have no internet plan)

but how come it isnt like the AIM on my old dash, the one t-mobile installs... (i didnt have to have any internet to send IMs through the program...)?????

I think that AIM program uses internet and not text messages like the AIM on the Dash... (which I had as well...)

So for those without unlimited texts it actually works out a little better....





You can use any unlocked GSM phone with T-Mobile... BUT, T-Mobiles new 3G network will not work with the Touch Pro... It will use the EDGE network which isnt that bad... The touch pro has such a fast processor in it that full web pages load pretty quickly as well...

Did you ever use a Sidekick? Is the Touch Pro's internet much faster than the Sidekick(Internet plan-wise and not Wi-fi)? Because the Sidekick's internet is really slow and it makes it

The download speeds are the same, but the web page actually loading is faster....

When I compared my Cruise to my Touch Pro the Touch Pro just loaded pages faster, scrolling was faster etc...

I have not yet used a sidekick...

but full web browsing on the Touch Pro / Google Maps worked pretty well..
