Try Badboy8813's sound boost cab. I'd try lite first It was enough for me.

yes, it does. (even the verizon one have real gps in it, except that they just have to lock it so no one could use it, unless you hack it).

just wondering, did you keep your QuickGPS updated? mine doesn't usually take this long, the most is around 2 minutes, but it usually take less than 1 minute to get a lock on my location.

Does anyone have experience with the HTC Touch Pro on Verizon? It is available now and I am wondering if this is a better choice than the omina or storm smart phone. I like the physical keyboard. I also think it is on the Verizon 3G network.

    vzw tp

i have the touch pro and i am pretty satisfied so far. I just tried and the paid for SPB mobile shell 2, which takes the phone to another level. Once spb mobile shell comes 3 comes out then this phone will be AMAZING. I have installed a few apps/games/programs and it's pretty good. My only gripe is there is a memory leak somewhere, so when i start up it usually runs about 60% memory (with TF3D) used, then by the end of the day its up around 70-75%. Much above 75% the phone really starts to lag. The GPS feature is supposed to be unloked by Verizon by june according to a press release (here ) You can unlock it your self now if you are interested.

My roommate has the omnia and the screen seems to be lacking, resolution and poor responsiveness, unlike the TP. The stom is ok, my other roommate has that, he seems pleased with it. The click screen is not as terrible as i initially thought, but i also liked the physical key board. It is also pretty slow and still kinda buggy.

i would rather go with the storm or omnia, there is no way in hell i will go with the TP on verizon. First they have to reduce the ram size to 192mb from 288mb, and then lcok the gps up, and so on..........

This didn't help me at all but it is the only post I found talking about how to put my own ringtones.

So the only way I can get into the phone is by connecting via usb, with the memory card in the phone it only lets me see the memory card, with the card out it won't let me into the phone at all. Is there a program I need to be using to get into the phones folders where I can put my own ringtones?

That IS strange. When I connect my Fuze via USB and establish an ActiveSync connection, I see all the Fuze's folders...
Mikey: Look, we're gonna spend half the night driving around the Hills looking for this one party and you're going to say it sucks and we're all gonna leave and then we're gonna go look for this other party. But all the parties and all the bars, they all suck. I spend half the night talking to some girl who's looking around the room to see if there's somebody else who's more important she should be talking to. And it's like I'm supposed to be all happy 'cause she's wearing a backpack, you know? And half of them are just nasty skanks who wouldn't be nothing except they're surrounded by a bunch of drunken horny ×××××××s. And I'm gonna tell you something T. Are you listening?
    Trent: Yeah, I'm listening.
Mikey: I'm not gonna be one of those ×××××××s. Alright? It just makes me sick. It's like, some nasty skank who isn't half the woman my girlfriend is, is gonna front me? It makes me want to ××××in' puke!

I wasn't clicking active sync but I just did to test it out, nothing. I go to my computer and don't find any drives. It's been a really long time since i've owned a windows phone and I don't remember how to do anything. haha either way I love this phone, I just want to put my own ringtones on it. There has to be something I am doing wrong.
