iPhone SIM in Nokia E71 Any Problems Doing This?

I have the 1st Gen iPhone + data plan, I have not been charged anything extra when using the E71 on 3G. I probably use more data on the iphone on edge than I do on the E71 anyway. I prefer the iphone for browsing but like to use the E71 on weekends so I don't get bored with just one phone!

Exact opposite as me! I use the E71 on weekdays and the iPhone is my toy phone on the weekends.

Both phones have their pluses and minuses.

Can anybody post exact ATT connection settings please? Access point, authentication mode, etc. I can't set up my SonyEricsson P910 to access data using iPhone 3G SIM.

when you use media net access point, it compresses some pics on certain websites so they will look low quality. that's about the only difference. you should select att internet for all your browsing and all connections to the internet, including 3rrd party apps, email, etc. the only time you should use media net access point is if you want to go the ATT's media net portal, which you probably will never want to go there since the n95 can go to any website anyway.

oh and some hidden info, whenever i run speed tests, media net AP is always very fast. and att internet AP is always pretty slow. i have all my apps to always ask me which AP to use each and everytime that app is opened. i dont use the default AP setting like some peoples do.

Okay, so if I call AT&T and ask them to remove my iPhone plan and add MediaNet for $15, I can still use the AT&T Internet access point, in addition to the MediaNet one? I have no intention of using my iPhone again. Also, will this give me unlimited data? I'd like to be able to tether to my MacBook.

Can anyone tell me if I can just call AT&T and ask for the iPhone voicemail to be taken off my phone if I can do that? Because everytime I get a voicemail on my e71 i get two text messages. Since I am not using the iPhone I want to get rid of the voicemail issue.

Also, can anyone tell me if I call AT&T and tell them that I want to switch to the media net plan ($15) can I do that even though I am still in a contract with the iphone? Or doesnt it matter?
