For the people that are able to tether, do you have a data plan on your account?
    Thanks.

Not selling until Friday here in Arizona either. Rep said it is an issue with t-zones. They are probably sorting out on how to block tethering since people are able to do it.
I was just on my way to pick one up at lunch.

Just picked up mine today (Orange) and it seems to be tethering just fine over BT with my VAIO laptop. I'll stick with my ATT Z750a for tethering for the time being though until T-Mo launches 3G data...

Strange, got one this morning here in Atlanta. Tzones didn't work at first, but found that the default internet setting was for internet and not tzones, now it works fine. Tethering works fine, Google Maps, Opera Mini work fine accessing the internet. GPS is working.

When I connected it to SE PC Suite, it showed up as Z780. Wonder if SE Update would flash it to OEM software?

Got one here in Philly, did have to change the internet settings to use T-Zones, but yeah, just got home and I tested it, tethering works fine over BT, you just have to use *99***4# , *99***1# and *99*1 don't work

Two stores in Seattle have told me they won't be released until Friday, too. I'm about to head down to one to see if they have one to play with, though. I want to see if it has an e-mail feature that doesn't require going through the web browser.

In regards to GPS, are you using the built-in telenav software? Does this cost an extra $10/month?

    finally, my suggestion worked
when I check TM506 again, I found the default settings are empty, only ID # exist
whoever have hard time to access t-zones, go to configurator, use K850, W910, Z750 setting
after that, you have to go to menu-9-connect-internet settings
change connect using dl'ed T-Zones GPRS
you can also see a list of data accounts, highlight the data account you got or configured manually, press left soft->view, check ID #
if the ID is 5, then dial *99***5#
too bad the demo units are locked, I can't try again

Has anybody tried out tethering via Bluetooth Personal Area Network? PAN is by far the easiest and most reliable way I've found to tether on my Mac and I use it quite a bit on my W710i that is on my Total Internet data line. I'm hoping that PAN network access is kept on the TM506 despite modem use being discouraged on it.

T-Mobile doesn't charge for GPS on any of their phones (as long as you have a data plan). AT&T and Verizon do.

bt PAN didn't work when tested yesterday
it's there, but you can't configure it except you debrand it
