That's true...I don't mind if the volume controls don't work on the iphone, just as long as the rest of the controls work. I will definitely buy this if that is the case.Originally Posted by XFF

The new in-ear will be compatible with any audio player whether it be a music players, CD players, tape players, 3.5mm equipped phones. It's just a nice woofer and tweeter in-ear.
If you're referring to the new headphones, I would imaging it has to have some way to send the controller info back to the device which isn't possible to upgrade on a software level?

Stand in a crowded NYC train or a DC metro and you will know that reaching into your pants for your iPhone can be a big mistakeOriginally Posted by XFF
. My iPhone is set to one volume and it stays that way when I'm in a crowded metro. I'd love to be able to change it on the headphones...I'd love it.
Wait....whats wrong with putting your hands in your pocket? The iPhone has external volume controls last I checked.Originally Posted by asnpcwiz

Either that or you may violate someone in a way you really don't want to violate them. And it'll probably be the biggest, fattest, guy in the metro![]()
useful for working out, if you have your Iphone in an armband and you're running, it's a hassle to reach around and find the volume controls. These headphones look promising, especially since I'm on my 3rd set of Vibe's(as fragile as you've heard)

Just curious to know if anyone has tried these with the 2.1 update on the iPhone....I'm hoping to pick them up tomorrow and try them out. I will report back.
Are they out now?
According to this they're still listed as coming soon.
yeah saw that, I was wondering how the other poster can pick it up tomorrow.
Release date is October.
Sorry about that. I didn't read it and just assumed I'd try them out when 2.1 was released for the iPhone. Thanks for the clarification.
what about the non in-ear ones with the volume controls...are those out yet and do they work 100%?
