Apple in-ear headphones with remote & mic

I purchased a two pairs today. I am actually impressed so far. These are way more comfortable and sound pretty good. The call quality is good on both ends and the remote component is responsive and easy to use. Anyone else have feedback? I do feel that Apple should include these with the handset!

I picked up a pair of Apple in ear headphones with remote and mic on Ebay for $40.00 and love them. They are super comfortable and light especially compared to the standard headphone (which are painful to wear for me).

Sound quality is good and they have received pretty much favorable reviews.

Ya it would be great if these headphones shipped with Iphones and iPods but thats not gonna happen

    P.S

Just a tip if you hold down pause/play button on headphones you can activate voice control on 3gs ^_^

I have these as well and am pretty happy with them. The sound quality isn't as good as that of my Etymotic ER-6i's (which I didn't expect to begin with) but they are fine for my purposes and even block out enough noise to use easily on the train or while mowing the lawn.

I would get them if they were neck-chain style. I wish my Ultimate Ears Superfi3's were neck-chain style..

OK, so I've had to replace 2 pairs of these now (thank goodness they replaced them at the Apple store). I think I've figured out the problem. I wear these primarily while I work out. I work out very hard and sweat like crazy. I think that a drop of sweat must have gotten into the microphone micro-dot thus shorting out the functionality of the remote.

The headphones never stopped working, just the remote. On this last pair, I decided to wrap the remote in saran wrap (plastic wrap) and then tape the ends with scotch tape.

After 1 month, this set is still going strong. So if you are prone to wearing these while sweating, beware and or try out my adaptation.

I've had these since December 08 now and last month the silicone ear gels kept getting stuck in my ears when I'd take out the headphones. Not wanting to carry around a pair of tweezers, I ended up grabbing some foam replacement ear tips from Comply Foam. Not only do they stay on the headphones properly, they've also made the music sound better. There's a better seal now so they block out more ambient noise and they seem (subjective) to provide a much richer bass level as well.

Has anyone noticed that with the stock earbuds and mic that came with my 3Gs that people complain when your in a call with them that it has an echo on their end. I always have to unplug them and put the phone up to my ear and stop using them in a call........The music playback through them is fairly ok though. I am just very dissapointed that they cause a problem when trying to have a conversation with them. They are these right here....

The size might be different on your ear phones.

There is the standard size which is 3.5 mm and the smaller size which is 2.5.

All iPhones are compatible with the 3.5 mm head phones. If you have a 2.5, you would have to purchase a converter or a new sized head phones.
