    Bluetooth file transfer

    .

I bought a bluetooth usb dongle and after installing it on my XP macine with the SE PC Suite software, the SE PC suite will find the phone issue a pass code to the TM506 which the TM506 displays and then comes cannot connect to the phone.

I also bought the cable and can do file transfers with the cable, any one sucessfully get the bluetooth file transfer to work?

    Voice control Magic Word

    .

the voice dialing I can get to work by pressing the volume up control. It functions, yet it seems to wait forever till the recognition applet ends as opposed to going to dialing as soon as a name is matched.

I cannot get the magic word to work most times. any one else play with these functions

I have noticed random beeping sounds too, though not as long as yours. But it might be my headset, I dont know. I have also had more dropped calls--not a lot, but a few more--since the 3G network fired up here in LA. The phone was working pretty well before that.

I think the dropped calls caused by handoffs
the problem is: 2G has a lot better reception than 3G, then the phone switches often
too bad currently there's no way to force 2G only or 3G only mode

    there's a workaround
after input "joan", press right, then you can input "ne"

when you get the wrong word, go to the left options, and select "Spell word". Manually spell the word and the next time you spell it, t9 will understand it. You can do that to a bunch of words you know t9 will not have. Like local cities or towns. etc...

That was a big issue when ATT went live with 3G in LA as well

    Tks
check another thread in this forum
however, current users should not be affected, except the phone runs update with SEUS on host computer (separated from PC suite) or send it to repair
and hopefully some service can debrand the phone

Does it still charge if you use the email application and have a data plan?
