Please dont hate.. verizon phone on sprint....

Ok, this probably has been asked before, but i could not find anything on it. My girlfriend broke her sprint katana and wants to use my verizon moto z6tv on her line.
Its not possible, because of the programming that would have to be done and there is not a z6tv/m on sprint to get the settings from, correct?
please, if i am wrong.. correct me.

    THANKS!

Sprint won't activate a phone that doesn't say 'Sprint' on it. Period. Ever.

With this open-network business that Congress is pushing, that may soon change.

In response to the OP, no you won't be able to activate the Verizon phone on Sprint. I recommend just going the ebay or craigslist route, or even just going to the store to get it fixed and pay whatever they want you to pay.

Over the phone they won't be seeing Sprint, anyways. Just says its a sprint phone, give them the esn and program it yourself.

Unless sprint keeps some type of database of esns of what can and cannot be used.

As a matter of fact, they do. This is how they keep track of what's lost/stolen, too
