    Softbank 706SC Unlock Question

I got a 706SC for my GF about a year ago (Since she's japanese and likes to text to me in Japanese) But when I got it it was rather limited in what was unlocked. Like MMS was a total no go as well as other settings.

Has there been a better software unlock release or would a good hypersim type chip help in this instance?

Basically, no Internet. No Java games. No MMS. Too bad, next time research before buying

    Thanks for being helpful

It does everything she wants it to do so (which was essentially type in Japanese and have Japanese menus and work on our phone network here) .
So did she get a product that she wanted? Yes

So why not try to be helpful and provide information instead of trying to ridicule people for decisions you have no insight into.

How is he "trying to ridicule you"? Mrmacosx answered your question, and unfortunately for you, that's the truth. Theres are things you have to deal with when you own keitais... this being one of them.

@Holidaystyles Yeah I agree with you there, The phone does what she needs it for I just have to make sure that I keep my SMS' to a minimum since MMS' are a no go. I'll probably as well get her a new phone once the new T-Mo 3G phones that have Band I & IV 3G.
@Deasine He answered nothing. He just reiterated what I already stated above. I just asked if there was an New/better Unlock and he just went on to ridicule me for my poor choice in phones.

He didn't say anything about ur poor choice of phones... he said "next time research before buying" meaning you should see if you can do all the features you want a phone to do before purchasing any product! You just took it way too personal...

WTF? I answered your question, you asked 'is there something else to unlock other functions'. I said, 'This is a no-go, this is a no-go, etc. Pls research next time.' You took the last question WAY too seriously.

Yep, deasine got it way better than the OP did

OP: When did I ever say 'poor choice of phones'? You're simply making things up now... And how am I ridiculing you?

    ^

He is right, and he made his comment straight and truthful.

If you cannot accept the truth, as harsh as it may be, you shouldn't be getting a phone which isn't even supposed to be used in North America.

I'm sorry I acted too harshly and I apologize for doing that as I'm usually a Really nice guy but your reply was the following.

Basically, no Internet. No Java games. No MMS. Too bad, next time research before buying.

Which I had stated in my OP I already knew and after your 1st response.
I admit I did over react but, no where did you say "no go" I just asked if there was a new unlock or a hypersim available. She likes the phone. and that's all that Really matters.

i agree with Ohgami. The guy is just asking for a better unlocking software that maybe he is not aware of or couldn't find easily. he just wanted info he couldn't get and someone else who already knew the answer gave a smart *** remark like "do some research next time". Sounds like he was trying to relate him to other people who actually don't research. i am not trying to start a battle, but i would have taken it the same way Ohgami has.
