Anyone find when ordering fixtures online (brochures, receipt rolls etc.) that it is taking 1-2 weeks to get them now?
Normally it would take a couple of days now it's way to long.

We just try to keep a spare of everything on hand, and replace the spares as needed. We started doing that when some of our stuff arrived on time - two provinces over.Originally Posted by Leetneo
As for the stool issue - we do have one here (provided by the mall, actually, IIRC). Most of the time it just gets in the way (even more so if there's more then one of us here). It's nice for customers, though, particularly when they have to wait a while if we call CC or something.
I do not speak on behalf of my employer. My thoughts are my own.
Nope, hate them with a passion - and the fact that while you're on hold, you can't be helping customers, and (at least in our case), process any debit/CC transactions or top ups. And some of the hold music is terrible - some is quite good, but some makes my ears bleed.Originally Posted by cidknee

800/888/866/etc numbers are not charged as long distance but you are still charged (local) airtime.Originally Posted by bonjour11

Hey
quick question...
What do you guys clean the kiosk with?? We use windex for the glass but for the actual counter top, what do you use? We've tried Pledge and lysol disinfectant but they leave oily streaks. =(.... any suggestion??
Thanks

We use a little hand held swiffer duster type thing to dust everything, and then some all-in-one, cheap, dollar store cleaning spray (works on glass, too).Originally Posted by linduhhh
It works, but it's really not an ideal solution, and I'd like to wash things down with soap, water, a stiff brush, and a rag about once every month or two.
At my store we were given a bunch of contact numbers for port-overs, and this one I called, and it said, "welcome to virgin mobile, for english, press 1" then i went straight to this operator, i start belting out my problem and troubleshooting with the guy, and all of the sudden he's like, "wait, this esn is registered with virgin..." and i say, "yeahh..." and he's like, this is BELL!
I call again and the next operator is from bell mobility too, but what freaks me out is it has virgin mobile automated greetings. A-duh! confused
does virgin not contract out call center jobs. if the call get routed to a contract call center that does multiple brands confusion may occur.Originally Posted by bonjour11
