Where's the dialtone?
LG 8100 Bit Pim Com Port 5
I am running sw v07 on the lg 8100 and can download info into my computer via usb cable. However when I try to write back to the phone, I get com 5 error - unable to communicate. Anyone know how to open the com port?? Appears as though it it has been blocked by VZW in the phone. Any help or suggestions will be apprecitaed.

Sorry for the mistake on my part - the error message I got when trying to write to the phone is "Acess to the file / directory has been blocked on this phone by the phone provder".
Does anyone know the code to get it unblocked?

Try the most current version of Bitpim? And just to be sure, which carrier are you using?
