What I'm wondering is why you need to make a big deal of this. I'm sure 4 years ago when you saw the nokias with the flashing batteries you thought it was the neatest thing you've seen. SO quit causing so much trouble..

nice case, not exactly my steez but i'm glad that you're happy with it. as for the quality, how is it? is it a seamless fit or is there any creakiness?

i'm thinking about picking up one of the solid color ones from daydeal, so your impressions of the build quality will help somewhat, thanks.

With a name like "dikhed" im not even going to warrent a response to you. Anyway i help an AWFUL LOT of people on here so I dont cause alot of trouble, i just dont like stupid remarks to my posts like "gay boy" for no reason.

Yes everyone the face plate is from daydeal.com

Yes, you can get them for the S100 @ daydeal.com

(also from ebay.com for S105 which may work out cheaper than using daydeal)

The quality of this see-through one is pretty tough, doesnt "flex" when you press both sides, no "creakiness" and the fit is perfecto!!

A little tricky and fiddly to fit but just take it slow and its easy enough. dont blame anyone if you snap something though

One thing i did note is apart from the colour "red" the other colours of the flashing lights are made up of more than one colour

like Yellow is made up of "orange/red and something else" and green is made up of two different colours, hold it near to a wall and you can see like a rainbow

you dont notice with the original faceplate!

Hi cool96 i know that this has nothing to do with this thread but i was wondering if u could help me.....I have got the easygprs software and i am trying to link it up with my phone but it just keeps saying that its offline.

Is there any other software i can use to download pictures and ringtones if not could u try and please help me sort this problem out, cheers.

Hi

EasyGPRS is the best software to use.

Have you set the right COM port? this is usually the problem. Try in the settings every com port and then loading the software up again if you arent sure what COM port its in.

Does the phone beep when you plug the cable in? this will show you have a connection.

Hi, cool96 I have just tried all the ports 1 and 3 dont work but when i put it on com2 and try different speeds at the bottom, where it tells you if your fone is online or not, it says the word nothing and it changes to an orange colour then after about 10 seconds it goes off and just says offline.

What shall i do now????

Also when i put the cable in the fone yes it does make a beeping sound.

Finnally which side should the switch be on on the cable data or D/L??

which operating system are you using?
be sure to update your easygprs to the latest version, and all service packs are installed for your OS
and make sure the switch on the cable is set to data

Hi Junchul,

My operating system is Windows 98.

Could u tell me wot the latest Easy GPRS software is I have version 2.1.2.

I have also made sure that the switch is set to DATA.
