Unlocking motorola V3

Can someone please help me? i bought a T-mobile V3 on e-bay and they said it could be unlocked for AT&T. well, I called AT&T, T-Mobile, and even the person i bought the phone from and no one can give me the code because i'm not a T-Mobile customer! I really need to find out where i can get that code without having to pay an arm and leg for it!

If no one can help me, will someone just please tell me whether or not i should request my money back or continue to search for the unlock code?

There are a number of resellers on E-Bay who will obtain the code, aka the 'subsidy code' for a fee. (Anywhere from $10.00 - $30.00). If you look in 'cell phone accessories->unlocking services', you should find what you need. You could also check in your area to see if anyone offers a phone unlocking service. The process is fast and quite simple.

I bought an ATT RAZR and wanted it unlocked for Tmobile. Where were u then? kidding.

Run a search for "unlocking phone", and there are a few sites that come up repeatedly...I didn't find an Ebay one cheaper... I chose one of those, paid $8 via PayPal, gave the IMEI number of my phone, and they sent me an unlock code about 12 hours later. It worked perfectly the first time I entered it.

I wish I could remember the site name for you, but make sure they GUARANTEE results or money back, just in case.

Hi Everyone..

I just bought this Motorola V3 and I would like to unlock it. The phone I had before was a Nokia and I unlocked it with some software I downloaded on the internet for free, unfortunately this software does not work for Motorola phones. Does anyone have any advice?

i had my unlocked Xperia with timtechs.com, they do have unlocking codes too..
