    Koodo MMS and WAP settings

    Hi,

I have a KRZR K1m, I recently flashed it to Bell firmware. But unfortunately after the flash my wap and MMS no longer work.

Does anyone have the correct settings? DNS. Gateway etc?

    Thanks!!

    Exactly the same problem

I have exactly the same problem . I flashed my Koodo krzr k1m with a Bell software to activate Java and be able to use mp3 customized ringtones. After that I couldn't get MMS or the internet surfing to work. I hope someone with knowledge about this problem could help us out here. Also, lets post any info we get if we do.

Thank you Luddite for your reply but can you explain how can I use this information to get back MMS and internet browsing on the Koodo phone?

I can't help you with that because I have never so much as seen a Bell KRZR.
Try flashing it with the OEM firmware instead of the Bell or Telus/Koodo firmware. I think I saw it posted here a few months ago, using the unbranded OEM firmware you will be asked to config the data settings the first time you run Openwave.

the par.telusmobility.com seems to be another NAI, does anyone have more info on it?
25GB Cap? DIY Telnus prepaid/Koodo unlimited EVDO internet (for $10 per 2 months, to keep account "Active"), Max 3Mbps download speed, if you roam on Bell (free), then you get non-NATed IP

Actually it should be %M@par.telusmobility.com... %M is just a variable for your phone # and you cant put in your whole # because it only allows 30 characters.

For those of you who dont know how to enter all this, have to do #073887*, enter security password (usually 000000), goto web sessions, create a new one, and enter just that info up there... no need to change anything else. For service type may need to change from WAP to HTTP if it isnt already, and as for the name you can name it anything... once done just say OK and then select the new profile you created so it sets it as default and voila.
