    TM506i FW at DavinciTeam

Has anybody flashed TM506 with TM506i FW from DavinciTeam? I understand it should be quad band and have FM radio

Someone else did and it ended up being the exact same firmware as the phone came with. No change. Same t-mobile branded firmware. No changes.

Wirelessly posted (HP 211 and SE Z780: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.7))

I think we need to push davinci a bit
I'd like to force the phone run in 3G only
the phone 2G reception is far better than 3G, that causes the phone often stays in 2G even 3G signal is good

Do any of you know if the TM506 will run in 3G if you have a grandfathered data plan?

    Thanks

I have 2 english Z780 fw files, got it from TOPSONY.com but clueless on how to flash that to my TM506, may be somebody can check that forum and find some answers. As for Davinci, no help from them, waste $$$ and can't debrand *****...neways...hope that answer some of your questions...
Could you post those two files somewhere we could download them? I tried getting them from the Topsony.com forums but was unable to.

I posted in that thread and here is the response I got:

"I flashed it with SETool but I think Cruiser can do the same job. Keep in mind this phone is A2, so you will need to use Cruiser A2 flasher. hope this help. By the way, I don't think there's any support for this phone yet, so you have to take your own risk. good luck."
