Sounds like you may have a answer to our prayers. Can you post step by step for us common folk, if this works, I'll try this out this evening
Common folks? Leave your phone alone!!! I think most of us are still testing and finding out more about debranding this with all the gadgets we want. Unless, you don't mind brickin up your phone like some of us.

Don't worry about it, you won't get charged for doing custom FW and Main flashing. I did a dozen times and the credits are still there. BUT if you add CDA, they gonna charge you. Also, you know I had to try...I tried to force 770i chinese fw on it...didn't work...LOL...well, had to give it shot..both fones are so "alike". Anyway...good luck. I am done with this little p.o.s., going to flash it back to default TMO cr@p, and let it sit in my desk as a backup fone. Now, which phone to play?
I'm flashing using the TopSony files - tried a variety of files/combinations - the files show that they've flashed ok - but when the handset reboots it shows "Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre."

Any top tips please??!!
Which file did you use? Don't use the FS file. Or you gonna get that error. Just use the main fw.
