Telus 6265i ringtoning

Just to put it out there, I have no bluetooth dongle or USB cable for the phone. I put everything on through way of minisd.

I tried the DRM encapsulator that was claimed by the author to work on Telus 6265i's but it didn't:

I've been trying with the Nokia Mobile Internet Toolkit drm packager for a while and nothing yet because I still get "not allowed by activation key"

Does anyone have suggestions? I've searched but I can't find anything.

Also if I WERE to go about purchasing a USB cable and debranding this phone, would that void my warranty? And how much would it be to buy one? If it's so expensive that I could just buy ringtones then never mind.

I appreciate the effort but alas, I have not the scratch or warranty info to debrand the phone, like I said in the first 2 posts.

^ There's no need to "manipulate" the DRM to "fool" the phone at all! Instead wasting your time & efforts in the WRONG direction, READ:

- Warranty will be VOIDED, technically, for any mod as such... However, if you can bring every settings / conditions back to the original factory state like out of the box, I personally do not believe there will be a problem. Of course, if you admit to have so much fun around with these mods, then accept the risk and consequences.

Hm, is this all possible over bluetooth? I may pick up a dongle for this then, much cheaper and more versatile than a connectivity cable.

^ No, CA-53 or DKU-2 cable ONLY http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=799324 Unlike CA-42 or DKU-5, CA-53 or DKU-2 is not hard to find, it's not expensive either - even cheaper than buying a bluetooth dongle. Check out eBay and you'll know. Again, stop wasting your time, money & efforts in the wrong direction Good luck.
