Nokia 5310 - Bluetooth High Quality Audio

I have the 5310 XpressMusic connected to my computer with PC Suite via Bluetooth. I noticed that Windows programs that let you pick the audio output device (sound card) as well as Windows' own Sounds and Audio Devices panel has new options called Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth High Quality Audio. When I use this output device, no errors are generated but also no sound comes through anywhere. I figured I could plug headphones into my 5310 and hear my Windows audio streamed to the phone while roaming around my house!

Anybody have any information about this?

your guess is unfortunately wrong. your pc is not sending anything to your phone. this option for output selection is for "Bluetooth Headsets" only. why it doesnt give you an error problem is because windows finds no problem with your bluetooth dongle/card windows will not scan you device to figure out what it is when it comes to bluetooth.

    sorry for the disappointment.

also the compatibility with headsets depends GREATLY on what bluetooth drivers you are on.
I can't talk about it! It's so horrible! They were-- they were-- the milk! Oh God, the milk!"
