    Flashing a v3m RAZR

I currently have the red v3m RAZR from Sprint. I am looking to flash it to a prepaid Verizon, because I know that I will be able to keep the mp3 player feature. I am just wondering if I could acquire more information on where to download, and how to properly flash my phone. Without seriously damaging it.

    Thank you,
    Mike18q6.

P.S This is the phone I would like the flash to.

You'll need to flash your sprint phone with Monster Firmware file from Verizon. The InPulse/Pre-Pay firmwares are about the same, except the PP firmwares have a few extra settings toggled to identify it as a pre-pay device.

Search the Verizon/Moto section here for info about flashing...

However, there have been mixed results flashing Sprint Phones with Verizon firmwares..

More importantly though, Verizon may not accept the ESN of your phone, because that ESN is not within the range of ESN numbers in their database.

    (ESN = Electronic Serial Number)...

So even if you flash to Verizon's firmware, Verizon might no allow that device on their network because its not in their ESN range...

Sorry for the late response, but what are the problems that occur. I can't afford to brick my phone.

Search. There are several threads about flashing asprint phone with VZW firmware and turning the phone into a brick.

For some info, read -> http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1252639

and again, even if you do successfully flash that phone, it might not be allowed on VZW's network as the ESN number is not in VZw's database. If VZW wont allow the ESN, then you can't use the phone no matter what.
