I ordered the part at CellularDR.com.

I just received ship notification and i should get it on the 7th. I was hoping to avoid removing the upper pieces but i don't think its possible. maybe someone here could confirm.

I actually think I like the white on grey than white on white.

I don't really like the white bottom + top of the e71 white. It kind of makes it look off balance.

    Any updates?

    Did you get the part?

    Is it original fit/finish?

    Did you swap it?

    Was it hard?

How do you get that part off?

Received it but did not yet attempt. to replace it The part looks good. Looks like you have to remove the upper front and i didn't want to do that.

I don't have E71 anymore. But you should be able to remove it. Take a look at the this picture..

You need to apply some pressure where the connectors are & push the chrome plate up. Make sure you don't break the phone

    Quick question...

My grey E71-2 seems to have small hairline scratches on the screen that are only visible in direct sunlight. I think these are from using that worthless case that comes with it. Anyway, if I wanted to replace this part somewhere down the road, are these the correct parts to buy?

Your best bet is the first link; it says it includes the "window lens glass" and it's cheaper too.
