I'm currently using the iBox Final theme. The other night I used the iBox Final lock screen overlay found in the iBox Final thread on modmyi.com and placed one of my photos in the overlay. Then I SSH'd into the phone and re-named the lockscreen.png image to lockscreen2.png or something like that, then copied over my new image and changed its name to lockscreen.png. Seemed to work perfectly. Is that the best and/or only way to do such a thing? The theme creator has several other lock screen PNG images available, but I don't see how to get them into the choices for wallpapers under Settings. It would be great if I could switch between the different lock screen wallpapers without having to SSH into the phone.

Another thing: I'd like to combine the iBox Final lock screen with the iBox Carbon theme for the rest of the phone's UI. The iBox Carbon theme has a single tap to unlock lock screen, while the Final theme has a slider. I prefer the slider, which is why I'd like to get that lock screen in with the Carbon theme. What is the best way to go about doing that? Replace some PNG files in the Carbon theme with the ones from the Final theme lock screen?
Just delete or rename the lockscreen.png file so there isn't a lockscreen.png file at all and it'll use whatever you set your lockscreen wallpaper to be.

I got a question and don't want to start a new topic ....

Is there and difference in the iphone 3gs and iphone 4 when it comes to converting videos to watch on them..?

I use handbrake on my macbook pro, but since the resolution is difffernt on the iphone 4 i was just curious, i'm gonna start converting movies for it and just wanna know if im doing it right
Yes and no. You can use the 3gs resolution on iphone 4 of course but you can also increase that resolution if you like.
as mentioned VLC player is good but I think I prefer OPlayer to play xvids and avi's and such though it can be hit or miss.

There is also airvideo and streamtome which can stream from your computer to your phone but would of course be signal dependent.

iPhone4 has better quality of videos even if your converted videos are not that hi-res.
