not having this problem......
Since yesterday all text messages that are sent thru my Airave are 1 hour behind in the time stamp.
I received the messages immediately but the time is 1 hour off.
When I am not connected to the Airave the time stamp is correct.
Anyone else with this problem or now how to fix?
not having this problem......
I think it`s West coast thing.
Yes I am located in Southern California.
Anyone else having this problem?
I called Sprint Airave support and they told me that they will look into the problem.

same issue here im in so cal as well
The Airave switch for So. Cal is based in Phoenix Arizona who doesn't observe DST. We suspect that this is the cause. When we set the clocks back one hour next month the problem will hopefully be solved.
I got the same problem,
I just recieved my Airave, hooked it all up, got all 4 blue LEDS to light up,
and this morning I woke up late for work because my phone clock was 1 hr behind.
When i left the house, the time went back to normal.
I just got off the phone with Technical support and they told me to do this:
Turn off your phone (be at least 10 ft away from the Airave)
then turn back on,
and Dial *99 to make sure your connected to airave.
If this doesnt reset back to normal then call support again.
I will try this tonight when I get off work.
Hopefully this works.
The problem I have is NOT with the time on the phone like you are having but the time stamp saved onto text messages that are sent via the AIRAVE.
For example the time now is 10:40am Pacific time. If someone sent me a text message now the time stamp for the text message would say 9:40am.
What has been said earlier about the AIRAVE switch being based in Phoenix Arizona makes some sense but currently Phoenix and Southern California are on the same time.
Do you also experience this? I am located in Southern California.
Yes, we are on the same time, but I think the system is correcting for the fact that LA is in the Pacific time zone and PHX is in Mountain. So the system *thinks* that CA is one hour behind AZ, and is therefore adjusting the time even though it should not be.Originally Posted by komteks
I guess we will find out this Sunday if that is true or not!
The time stamp on the text messaging has finally been fixed!
Fixed until the clocks change again! ;-)Originally Posted by larryt510
Hopefully by then they will have figured out a solution.
Don't want to bump an old thread but I am having this problem, again. This happens randomly and doesn't matter whether or not I am connected to the Airave. I can be having a conversation via text and the first message will have the correct time, then the 2nd will be an hour behind, and so forth. It is extremely frustrating having to keep scrolling through my messages.
Anyone else experiencing this? I am in Az.
Yup, I am in AZ too and I have had the issue ever since the rest of the country went off of DST.Originally Posted by antonio010
Funny that the situation used to affect people in CA during DST, now it seems to be affecting us in AZ now that the entire is country is back to standard time.
Like you it isn't every message, and there seems to be no pattern as to when the timestamp is going to be 1 hr behind. It's totally random as far as I can tell.
