First off, I have to ask why do you need this? If you need a scent, cologne is best used. Even a nice smelling deodorant is usually enough for just going out generally.

Generally you don't want a body wash to have a lingering, strong smell because it is kind of annoying and will mess up any colognes and scented deodorants you attempt to use after the shower.

Agreed. I'd rather wear a decent cologne.

I'm going to go with Oldspice for a bodywash. Same smelling Oldspice bodywash + deodorant = long time smell.

Old Spice After Hours body wash and deodorant. But don't get it, 'cause I don't wanna smell like every other guy.

Old Spice's deodorant is the only brand that lasts for me. I'm not even a sweaty person and I don't have a manual labor job. But with other brands, by the time I got home from work, my armpits weren't smelling so great. With Old Spice, they smell great even when I get into bed.

I use axe deodorant and either axe or old spice body wash. Can't say the body wash lasts too long but the deodorant's decent.

The best part about just using bodywash and deodorant (I'm an Old Spice man myself) is that the smell is very subtle. You never "announce" your presence with scent. The only time people will notice is when they're right up against you, such as a hug. Most women like a man that doesn't stink.

It's amazing what the most simple hygiene can do for any man.

Hugs especially, and it helps being tall. When my girlfriend hugs me, her face is at the same level as my shoulder, so she always tells me my armpits smell good.

My wife loves my Old Spice deodorant. Same thing, she's shorter than me, so she's usually aligned with my chest. For cologne, it's all about Nautica (the green bottle).. and just some good antibacterial bar soap (irish spring, usually).

I use Dove bar soap when I don't use the body wash. I have really dry skin.
