Telus NO MORE!!!
No, it's IMAP Idle which is (IMHO) slightly better.
You get the push effect, but you also get the benefit of using all of your folders etc
Google Apps accounts now work again. Client is same RC but server has been updated to fix the issue.
The screenshots on Lonely Cat Games' website will give you an idea about the UI. I think it's annoying that it's so divorced from the phone itself, but the app works great, so I continue to use it.Originally Posted by trujap
If your IMAP server supports IDLE, it'll be far faster than any other solution. The current beta still has some bugs that leave it disconnected, though.
The beta version UI matches your theme. It blends right in.Originally Posted by wierdo

Yes indeed LCG's ProfiMail Beta is really killer!Originally Posted by ericshmerick

yeah, the email service has been pretty crappy the last 2 days or so, hopefully they're making some major updates.Originally Posted by oddsocks
EDIT: Does anyone have nokia email running with a yahoo email account? My friend just got an n82 the other day and I was trying to set it up for him. Every time I try to sign up with his yahoo account at email.nokia.com, it always gives me an error saying my user name or pw might be incorrect. Does nokia email NOT support yahoo mail?

You might need a Yahoo! Plus account in order to get access to IMAP or POP3 services with them.
It is a must to have a Yahoo Plus account to get pop3 working. Im paying yearly $20 for that service. In this way Gmail is fine because free.

That's what I'm using. And yes, it does do a bit more than previous versions to blend in, but it's still jarringly different than other programs that use standard UI elements. Of course, I use plenty of other programs that have that same fault.Originally Posted by ericshmerick
