I really want to like this app, but, Nokia's insistence on using three lines of precious home screen space, even when I have no unread emails, really makes me hate it.![]()

Just did the update as well. It looks a bit different. The big addition I found is that now you can set the message key on the E71 to open the nokia email client instead of the default client. Also the long press loads the compose email for the nokia client. It can be set up via the Email key setting under general settings. Nokia listened as this was one of the feedback I provided back to them during the betaOriginally Posted by JayFReaZy

Not so fast. Just slightly updated as you can tell when you install right after download, or check in app manager. I've used it before so my act is still active, but installed last week. Just now I've installed again and it remembered where I installed in menu folder.Originally Posted by dsawhney74

Currently, only 3 countries are participating in Nokia Messaging; North America is not ready yet according to Nokia.

I'm in UK and have just upgraded.
This is a really great update. My major gripe was the speed that the app opened up boxes and messages. MUCH faster now.
Has anyone figured out keyboard shortcuts on E71 yet? I want to easily make the messages as "read".
cheers
Highlight the message en press "u"Originally Posted by Trick202

Brilliant!
Thanks

Good performance improvement. I used to keep the message list open so that I could get to new email quickly since it lagged when opening. Now it opens almost instantly on the E71. I wonder how close they are to charging for this service?
FIXED! Also note that this new version will charge shortly as stated on nokia's site and still cannot add hotmail accounts; yet.Originally Posted by Prom1

Never mind a charge, we should get a red-faced appology for delivering sub-par email system on a qwerty device in the first place!
I just re-installed the latest version and there are big improvements from when I initially had it.
But the three lines of emails I have already read is useless to me!

How do I update Internet Services?
I'm trying to update, but I keep getting
"Document is xxxx bytes, which is too big to be reasonably displayed"
Anyway to change this?
