I got it to work today and it works flawlessly! I get my emails almost instantly and the UI is great, very easy to use and quick. Nothing more I can ask for, also it integrates very well with my phone (Nokia e71) which is even better.
However it did take me a while to get it to work and it did get on my nerves but it finally worked.

I guess MY problem was when I went to email.nokia.com and logged in, I clicked upgrade instead of the new install link. After that, everything worked flawlessly and I got it up and running in under 2 mins. which surprised me.

Excellent job Nokia and I hope everyone get's a shot to use this without any problems.

Yes, but can you change your connection?

I agree Profimail is a much better app overall. Particularly since it renders nearly every html email I receive perfectly. I just wish it integrated with the phone book better.

Yeah but my only thing is that first it is not PUSH email and second profi does not work with Yahoo.

Im having a wonderful time trying to set this up. Ever since i upgraded to the latest version i've been having nothing but issues trying to set it up. So far i finally got past the user name password part by going into my email account and check marking a few folders and resending the installation sms. Now however i can send emails out but nothing is coming in at all!!! I've tried everything in my power and even tried deleting the mail account on nokia's website but nothing works. I can't delete the email account or anything. Could someone shed some light for me here?

Using rogers and have the connection set to "Rogers Internet"

    thanks

this thing is not ready for prime time.
ever since i installed the new version, there are times when holding down the symbian menu key (which gives you all open apps) stops working. only thing i can do is reboot, and then it'll work again.
another thing, in the new version, i am using my t-zones as an access point, and if i go into a place i don't have coverage (like the elevator, or the basement level at the mall) the program automatically goes offline. except, i don't see how to bring it back online (it doesn't automatically go back online when you get coverage back) except by going to options and selecting "go offline" then selecting "go online". kind of a PITA.
i consider myself lucky, as these are minor issues compared to others around here.

Those of you that are having issues... Did you remove the beta before you installed Nokia Messaging?

I installed Nokia messaging over the beta and have literally had zero issues. The only thing I'm dumbfounded by is, that I cannot find where to change my access point.

Hey ceebz, I'm having the same problem changing the access point. It doesn't bother me but the option is supposed to be there. I don't know why so many people are having so many problems. For all of you who can't set up this app, go into App Manager, click Remove anytime you see Nokia Email (you should see it twice), then go to email.nokia.com on your PC and have it send the download link by SMS. That's how I got it working for me.

Same for me Blaxx but there are 2 options at email.nokia.com
    1. Install
    2. Upgrade

**I just logged into email.nokia.com and now the Upgrade link is not there anymore. Maybe because I upgraded already. But the first few times it didn't work I clicked the Upgrade option, clicking the Install option worked for me :]

I installed over the beta version without any problem. Then I removed it, installed a fresh copy, and had problem with the set up.

I had to sent another SMS provisioning after installation and it worked.

Exactly. I did remove the beta before installing the new one and did not have any issues. I dont know why so many posts are about installing issues.

Hi all I've just got round to installing Nokia Messaging and I get an error saying 'unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again'. I can't see what I've done wrong; I've put in the email address I registered on the Nokia Messaging website. How do I fix this?

    Thanks!

Installed and started using Nokia Messaging (ver. 2.2 Build 9.4.0.21) on my E71-2 a couple days ago.
Here is a list of my issues/complaints:

    - Only two(2) of my five(5) email accounts will add/work (other's: 'unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again'). Oh and these are all local ISP mailboxes (Not yahoo, gmail, etc.)
    - Wish they would allow manual mail account installation and way to edit mail account settings.
    - Both accounts seem to work as "POP3" accounts and not IMAP. Seems to only downloads "unread" emails and if I mark a message as read, unread or even delete, on my PC they don't change.
    - Inbox (or folders) message listing doesn't show date or time of emails? Please add option to show.
    - When I sort by "Date", they aren't listed correctly by "time" stamp (with or without Title dividers).
-Option "Remove older than" only allows up to 1 month. Please Add option to allow ALL messages/headers be downloaded.
    - 'BUG' When "Composing" a new message, the first time you click in the "To" box to get the address book, you get error "Address Book not ready. Please try again." but click again and works fine. This can be duplicated over and over. Oh and does the same in the CC: and BCC: fields, whichever clicked first.
    - Don't like the Home Screen (app listed as Intellisync) display when have new messages arrive. I really like the original built in email 1&2 notification which has a "mouse over" summary of new incoming emails.

Definitely can tell this is Beta software but does have potential!

I'm sure some of this has already been mentioned. Testing goes on.

    Robert

Happened to me too. That's when I had to delete everything and start fresh with SMS Provisioning
