I've had Virgin Mobile, Helio, and Sprint-branded service. My quest to use all of Sprint's brands continues!!1?
imma pass on this, look like what a teenybopper would carry.
Screw this thing and bring on the "Tocco" aka the "Behold" (has to be the worse name ever for a phone).
Does anybody know whats going to be the full price for this?
I don't know how much it will be. It shouldn't be more than $199 or so, but hey - T-Mobile will be T-Mobile. You can get the CDMA version, the Messager, for $179.
I think its nice to see something besides a sidekick on the lineup with Tmo. Also not all people that use these types of phones are young...some people like to text and this would make it easier for them.
Always remember it's just my 2 cents *wink*

Mitsubishi T350 (ATT) > Handspring Treo 300 (Sprint) > HP6500 (T-Mobile) > Sanyo M1 (Sprint) > HTC Touch (Sprint) > Samsung M520 (Sprint) > Sony TM506 (T-Mobile) > Blackberry 8700g (T-mobile) > Blackberry 8820 (T-Mobile) > Nokia 6263 > Nokia e75 (T-Mobile) > Blackberry Curve 8900 (T-Mobile)
For the price its not going to be too bad.
Home ISP, RR-Ultimate WiFi, $90/mo | Verizon 4G, $30/mo Unlimited
School, $5,000/semester | Work
Yeah, it does look very similar. It seems like every carrier now has a Samsung phone very similar to this.
My wife got this phone and it sure does look like a kids phone...even the icons are so childish...or "simple" like she describes it.
Tell you what though, if you want an easy phone to use with qwerty, camera and music player, this is it!...If you can get over the "toy look".
This thing was the easiest phone to use to tether with as well...Via Bluetooth took me less than 2 minutes to setup. And the speed and access is better than what Ive achieved with my new curve...
Seems like the cheaper phones are becoming more resourceful...$50 w/contract is not bad at all for what it offers...
Ill be posting a thread later with speedtest of the gravity tethered via BT to my Nokia NIT.
Hmm, thinking about picking up this phone when I sign up with Tmo. Not too many QWERTY phones available from them. I wish LG made some, but they made all the good ones for Verizon. Any other thoughts?
GO CAVS!!
