    Update:

I dissected the phone last night. Made sure the flex cable was properly affixed, so we can rule that out potential problems.

Can this be done in reverse?

I realize I'm very late to the party so I don't know if anyone is actually reading this thread anymore, but I was hoping someone could help me flash a Z6m with the Z6tv monster flash.

My old Z6TV took a bath in diet pepsi so my friend gave me her old Z6m. Problem is I have Verizon and she was on Alltel when she had the Z6m. I figure if I can flash the phone with the Verizon Z6tv software I will be able to activate it with Verizon, yes?

I tried the 1% in reverse but still no luck... Any ideas?

Before you try flashing anything with anything, see if you can even activate her Z6m on VZW. VZW whitelists their devices only to those that have been made for VZW (for the most part -- some have gotten through the cracks, but it's highly unlikely).

I took it in to VZW with the generic DST Monster on it and asked them to activate it and they told me if it wasn't from VZW they wouldn't be able to... Thanks for the heads up.

Did they even try to activate it? I meant try to active it online using My Verizon. If it doesn't work there, then yeah you're out of luck.
