I also noticed that entering the hidden i780 Audio tool via entering *#0002*28346# will also allow you to change BTMono volume, which is nice if your headset volume piece is low.
Don't meddle around in there too much unless you make note of the changes you enter. Some of the things are pretty self-explanatory.
Most of the changes will be made in MENU >> TALKING >> ******** >> RX
Setting a value too high can cause the speaker to blow. My friend did this on his Motorola via a hack.
i've looked through this thread, and i'm embarassed to ask as an experienced winmob user, but has can anyone point me to the reg hack or whatever to remove the damn ATT auto signature?
Great thread - thanks - I have had my Epix for a few days now. I just started playing with it and decided on Manila. After following all the instructions posted a reboot and everything seems to be working properly except the internet button.
I installed Opera 9.5 beta and that did not resovle the issue. Is there setting that I am missing?
We haven't been using ReadVGA. The Manilla Themes here require you DON'T use REALVGA. There are some themes that will work will RealVGA but RealVGA sucks and makes certain things work... while breaking others.
But FYI. If you use the Manilla 2D and themes I posted and use RealVGA, it will not work.
If you are hellbent on getting REALVGA to work for other reasons, then use an older version. The latest version breaks things. You'll have to hard reset your phone to fix the contacts bug, since we haven't looked into fixing useless bugs.
Thanks Player911
I got Manila working perfectly without RealVGA, but i would like to have an actual 320x320 display instead of the 240x240 real estate WM defaults to.
Realvga works great. it just kills the phone and contacts apps.
Hey, I'm trying to make a shortcut of the wireless manager to put in my system tray; does anyone know where I can find the file? I'm so used to HTC devices that I don't know where to look anymore.

It's in \Windows
You can copy it and then go to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and Paste Shortcut. From there I actually used the function mapper key to map the Wireless Manager to FN+A, that way on the home screen I just roll my thumb up from FN->A and the wireless manager pops up. Works great and makes it easy to flip Wifi On/Off.
Thanks Player911

I would love to see a working RealVGA for the Epix....seems to work ok on the Treo 800w and Treo Pro from what I have heard...but really sucks on the Epix. Even though it breaks a lot of stuff it looks FANTASTIC...maybe some PPC genius can re-cook the 96 DPI resource cab....p l e a s e ???? heheheh
my device is not slow at all - and this it with Manill2D installed. now, with that said, i only have Opera, Google Maps, Garmin Mobile XT, Live Search & Resco Explorer installed on my device. all the programs are installed to my 6GB microSD card.
Just a garmin mobile xt question, I thought this was locked to the 2GB microsd card that it comes on? I was thinking about getting mobile xt over putting a new map update on my old garmin.
First, if you can move the files to a different microsd card, how do you do it when it is supposed to be locked?
Second, for anyone else out there using it, is there still space on the card for tunes, pictures, and such, or is the card writelocked?
Thanks,
Dan

OK, after several uninstall and re-installs, I have got touchflo working with the yellow theme. The blue theme would only give me 240x320 screen but yellow is filling what looks to be 95% of the screen which is fine for me. Thanks again player911 for the posts and work to get this going for us. The touchflo interface is way better than anything that came on the phone.

I would love to give you detailed instructions if I could. All I did was re-install the CAB files 1-7 a second time and it started working. Since my first success at getting Touchflo to work, I have since done a hard reset on my phone. The same thing happened to me while getting Touchflo up and running for a second time. I just re-installed CAB files 1-7 again and everything starting working. Hope this helps.
And the touch screen is driving me insane! No matter how many times I try and calibrate it, it's simply not sensitive enough at the edges of the screen so I can't seem to move the scroll bars with the stylus no matter what I do..
after a little experimentation, i was able to improve the sensitivity of the screen edges, specifically the "X" close and top right scroll button. i started by aligning the screen, but for the the right two crosshairs i intentionally tapped a bit to the LEFT of the center. now if i use the stylus or my finger, tapping the x/close button or the top of the scroll bar works like it should.

Thanks for the reply, but what's the name of the file?
