Too Bad that no matter what the alarm time is set though, S2SU shows 12:00AM (at least on mine, and I've seen a few other posts) -- but that is a minor detail.
Yeah I noticed that also. I just disabled the alarm time from showing on the S2U2 screen.
If you hit the silent key, it doesn't do anything (unless you hold it down), assuming that you don't have third party software assigning that button to something else.
"On External Power:
Lock when backlight turns off - ON
Power Off in - OFF"
I just noticed one more thing with S2U2. When on External Power, Active Sync will lose its connection whenever the phone goes into stanby mode. Setting the Power off setting to Off will correct that.
I loaded that program up but I cannot find any automatic profiling in it. It just has some basic profile settings that you have to manually change to. I need it to read my calendar and see that I'm in a meeting and go to vibrate.
I am about 2 days away from trading this phone in for the new Fuze. I have spent about 20 hours searching for and trying out software programs just to make basic features work.
I use the beta version of SPB Phone Suite and it works flawlessly for the profile switching on my Epix.
Under downloads, you will find a huge package for 320x320. The guy who made them are including skins in all kinds of flavours - they are awesome. You can even personalize your skins and you can also swap skins on the fly. I ran Manilla2D at first but when I found these skins, I am not going back...

Has anyone started to have problems with this? It was working fine the last two days, but now it's really not responding well. When I'm at the regular today screen, the right soft key for 'SPB Menu' does nothing. Also, if I'm able to get in the spb screen with this new screen layout it always freezes trying to switch to calendar. I have to hit the red end key (hangup) to get back to the default today screen. Same with when my screen is off - I hit the power button and it tries to go to the Mobile Shell 'now' screen but just the title bar comes up and I have to hit the red key to close out of that. I've tried to config it with the 'low memory' setting but it didn't help.
I used the forum link on their site that goes to xda-dev, but nobody mentioned it there. Very frustrating - I liked this a lot when it was working.
EDIT:- I ran the original.mscr script & the original Mobile Shell script is working fine so it's something with this add-on. I know it's still beta for the 320x320 screen size. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Anyone managed to found a fix to enable email notification (sound) in standby mode?
Mike
I spent a lot of time on hold with Samsung last Friday.
The net result was when I finally spoke to a Level 3 tech, I was told they were working on a patch / fix that would be available soon. I asked if it would be a ROM upgrade or a CAB patch and he said "probably a CAB install but they could put it together with others and make it a ROM upgrade."
I think the net result for me is to hold tight and wait for the fix.

Thanks for the reply! By any chance... did you asked what 'soon' would be... couple of days? weeks? months? years?
I *KNOW* this is the wrong thread for this, but the new LG Incite has really caught my eye, and I only have a few days left in my first 30 with the Epix.
I have really big fingers and the teeny little buttons on the Epix are tough for me. The big buttons on the v9 are one of the reasons I liked it.
Anyhow, the Epix can do tons of stuff and I like the touch and wifi and the gps and all that other stuff. I like being able to install what I want. Heck, I have even made my own apps for it.
But the LG Incite is the same WinMoPro 6.1, but with a bigger screen (240x400) and without all those tiny buttons. And since it is WinMoPro just like the Epix, I assume I could install all the same applications.
On the Epix, I almost always use the screen and rarely use the keyboard. I do use the mouse, which I know is missing on the Incite.
I was curious if any of you are having the following issue:
I occasionally put my phone to silent or vibrate when I am in meetings at work. When I turn the volume back on, I lose the system volume. My media player is still stuck on silent, along with any notifications, voice command, and my garmin xt directions. When I power cycle the phone, all else returns to normal.
I haven't done any registry modifications other than to app unlock the phone, so I am assuming this is another bug with the phone. Anyone have any ideas? It seems like when the volume is toggled to silent, the registry values are getting stuck there. Perhaps this is related to the increasing ring tone problem, the email sound notification problem, and other sound issues going on.
