Call At&t and ask the rep to increase this. All ATT phone defaults to 25 seconds ring that the rep can increase to 30 seconds.
No need to call AT&T, you can do it from your Epix.
Go to START > Settings > Phone (under Personal) tab > Services > Call Forward (highlight and click Get Setting) > Change the setting under FORWARD AFTER: from 25 to 30 seconds > Click OK
Alright guys...since we've had a few days' worth of Incite discussion, I decided (today) that I would go visit the local AT&T store to check if they have one. They didn't have them displayed yet, but I asked the rep and she showed me the device, even put the battery and a simcard in and let me play with it. So I got the first had experience of the LG Incite about 30 mins ago. Anyway, my conclusion is, I'm sticking with the Epix.
The LG Incite has a very nice and shiny front face, and it is a bit less wide than the Epix, but that's just about it. The responsiveness of the screen is horrible. I can even dial a 10 digit number without it not recognizing one of my touches (maybe I have to touch it real hard?). Needless to say, the finger onscreen typing is horrible (And worse at sideways with one line left on the screen). Also, the finishing of the materials are just not high quality. They clearly made this device half-assedly.
Anyway, that's my opnion. So, I'm definitely not going to switch it out wit the Epix.
Check out rlToday and batterystatus (now called HomeScreenPlusPlus) for making powerful custom today screens.
I am really liking HomeScreenPlusPlus.
I imported the stock clock plugin into it so now I can position it where I want, and not just at the top. I put Samsung Today Plus at the top (finally!), and my calendar under the clock. Perfect.

Being a longtime BJ1 and BJ2 user, I've really come to like the form factor and usability of the phone. The only issue really was the lack of wifi and the small screen. Not deal breakers, but I really hoped the "BJ3" would fix this. So out comes the Epix and I thought "finally they got it right."
So I go over to the store and try it out...multiple times and in multiple ways and discover the fatal flaw...the absolutely awful optical pointer. I cannot really express how much I hate this pointing device. The jog wheel/DPAD combo on the BJ2 was great to use and fast...really easy navigation that was fast and accurate. The optical pointer on the Epix is utter crap in comparison. I really tried to get used to it but I found it terribly imprecise, slow, and you couldn't even move across the screen smoothly with one movement and to do anything requiring precision necessitated the need for the stylus...one of the reasons I switched to a smartphone a while ago was that I wanted one-handed and not two-handed navigation which in much more practical when using a phone.
I tried the Fuze a bit but it was a real brick and I felt the screen was unresponsive and I once again found an over-reliance on the stylus so I figured I'd keep my BJ2 and see what happened. What happened was the Incite. You can check out my posts on the Incite threads and while I wish the screen resolution was a bit higher (though the resolution on the Fuze is a bit of a joke because the high res coupled with the small screen means unreadable web pages anyway), they made one really smart choice...touchscreen coupled to a clickable jog wheel. The mobiletech review on the phone never really even mentions it (which in my opinion makes it a seriously flawed review) but this is the deal: if you can't quite do what you want with the touchscreen (e.g. scrolling through a dropdown list), you just scroll along with the jog dial and then click it. This combo mean excellent ONE-HANDED navigation which I consider critical to the use of a WinMo phone. Without the jog dial this phone would be much less attractive and yes, you would need the stylus. I've had the phone for 2 days now and used the stylus once...yes once, and that was just to see what it was like. Otherwise, I never even think about using it...there's just no need.
Also, since charging it yesterday, with moderate use I'm down to 54% battery (overnight with a locked screen the charge level didn't drop at all...not the case with my BJ2). I'm still in the "try out" period, but I'm definitely liking the phone. Yes, not having a stylus slot was really stupid, but you really don't need it so in the end, who cares?
Anyway, just my opinion, everyone's needs are different (and did I mention that I really, really hate that optical mouse on the Epix...ugh).

Just curious - how did you know you were at 54%? I can't get the Epix to report battery life in anything other than 10% increments. I have tried a couple of 3rd party apps and they do the same.

Seems LG has a better battery driver when it comes to reporting status. The Epix only reports in 10% increments, but I've had devices like the Tilt that can report in 1% increments.
Even so, I'd rather deal with the optical pad of the Epix than with the lack of a keyboard on the Incite.
If this is not the correct place or time to post this, my apologies...
I have been finding it hard to find information specific to the Epix (other than this now large thread); therefore, I put together a quick site and forum targeted specifically for the Epix.

It's funny how previous experience modulates response to features like this. Having never laid hands on a prior device, I'm thrilled with the little thing. I'm with you when it comes to the pointing device sensitivity, in that you can't seem to alter it enough, but if you root back a dozen pages or so I posted a couple of registry keys that you can experiment with to see if you can improve the response and accuracy of the little optical mousething. I haven't been able to test them out myself yet, as every time I find a project for this phone I immediately think of something else (Sticky Notes for Today, anyone? How about font format support? Custom AutoReplace dictionaries? Why is my P key backlight so much brighter? &c. &c.) and so far my tweaker's sensibilities are being pandered to by the customizability. I'm also with you on the stylus; I hardly ever use the thing but coming from an active/digitizer tablet background I'm nonplussed by both its resolution and response time.

This brings back some memories from when I was hawking laptops and I came to my Epiphany Of Pointing Device Preference. I've been using the Logitech incarnation of thumb-positioned wired trackballs since the '89 TrackMan, and I absolutely cannot understand how people continue to use a mouse. I sold a lot of trackballs once I yanked one for display and hooked it up as a demo, but some people were almost offended by the device. Their proprioceptive expectations of a pointing device had become hardlocked into the spatial movement of hand and pointer, and suddenly not being able to transition to a thumb-controlled ball really upset their world. To me, a mouse does the same thing. Anyone who's used the little Thinkpad nipple joysticks should commiserate; you love 'em or you hate 'em. In any case, back to laptops and jog wheels. Sony has been incorporating jog wheels into various devices for quite some time, and there was a run of laptops where these must have achieved their pinnace. The wheel complimented the touchpad (vile devices those can be) and better still, Sony had engineered a bolt-on GUI software upgrade that extended the device into all major apps and the Windows interface in a way that made flawless sense, and was customizable to boot. Task switching, volume adjustment, scroll wheel, menu selection, you name it, it was all there, and it worked out of the box. I wanted one of those jog wheels in every electronic device I owned. I tried to order the part itself from Sony, I nearly bought a Clie with a similar dial. It's a fabulous addition to modern GUIs; as a graphic designer I still long for a keyboard-mounted scroll wheel for adjustments while using a Wacom (anyone with a Logitech Corded Elite can name their price). In short, yes, the more options for input the better, and be careful if you find a feature you love, because there's a good chance you won't ever find such a feature again.

y'know I spent a good day googling for any sites dedicated to the Epix and found none. We've got one for palm users, the Blackjack fan club, all things HTC of course but no Epix--not even a forum subject. Was even thinking about the same thing of setting up a site, but I'm a cheap, lazy *******. Good deal, and I'll check it out in a sec.
Edit: So far so good. You may want to throw up a couple stickies on each of the forum subjects to let us know a little more about what goes in there and any ground rules and all that.

I have some issues which i think are a result of programs conflicting with one another which is kinda pissing me off.
First of all let me say I have the phone working almost 90% the way i want it to. Thanks to you guys and your posts.
Issue # 1 S2V doesnt close or buttons at the bottom do not work once S2V is open, i dont think this is cause because of conflict with another program.
Issue # 2 RealVGA @ 128 dpi shows no difference, no biggie id rather run it at 96 DPI anyways, except for what seems to be a conflict between programs again. S2U caller ID touch screen doesnt work, actually nor does the green button to answer calls. with RealVGA running at 96 dpi i cant answer incoming calls!
Issue # 3
Photocontacts pro, category ringtones will not work at all. First thier ssupport sent me a beta version which fixed the resolution issue ... but the program would crash on power cycle and STILL did not work with category ringtones. Then they sent me a newer beta, program doesnt crash anymore but i still only hear one ringtone, not the category ringtones. Thier program worked fine on my old BJ1 with WM5, what the hell is going on now? I think even thier support is lost cause I keep menting it with ever email and i almost never get anything solid back.

Thank you for this! My phone was set to 20 seconds which explains why I can never answer it fast enough!
App Unlock and Clean House
All AT&T phones come with clutter and demos. They already nickel and dime us to death... we can't afford extra monthly subscriptions.
What exactly is the App Unlocker supposed to do? Before running it I could move/delete the shortcuts in "Windows/Start Menu".
After installing the above App Unlocker, I still can't modify most files in the /Windows folders and I can't modify HKLM registry entries using Mobile Registry Editor (run from XP connected to Epix via ActiveSync) ..
Is there someway I can verify its been fully installed (its not listed in Settings > Remove Programs) .. Thoughts?

Same here. After installing the app unlocker I could still do the same stuff I did without the app unlocker. Still, shortcuts remain just as locked as before and registry entries that wouldn't take modifications still won't take them. And still the same UAC-style prompt when installing cab files or running .exe files copied over. On top of that, there is no uninstaller - good thing I had created a Sprite Backup image before installing app unlock so I hard reset and restored my image. Until someone can prove that unlocker cab really does something, I just deleted it.

It definitely lets you customize some of the connectivity things. You can change your cellular internet connections and it makes tethering work.
