I use the $25 medianet Data plan which includes unlimited messaging (video, picture, and text)... plus 200 SMS for out of network numbers.
The way you get around it... is find ANY phone. Log into your AT&T account and click, "THIS IS NOT MY DEVICE"... and change your phone to the crappy extra one. All it needs is an IMEI number under the battery. Once you have another phone setup on your account, you can add any dataplan you want. Works like a charm. Once the data plan is ON your account... you can swap back to the Epix IF YOU WANT.
My account shows the Epix... but whats the harm in leaving AT&T thinking your using a Razr or something? I have a couple old Motorola AT&T phones that are sitting in a drawer not being used. PM me if you want the IMEI number
On what screen do you key in your old crappy IMEI? Thanks.
chgFingerMouse is an app that will instantly switch between Dpad and Mouse mode. There are no popups, windows, checkmarks, or anything. When mapped to a button, will simply switch the mode when pressed. I've uploaded it several times here in this thread.
How do you map chgFingerMouse to a button, say Camera for example? When I go to start/setting/buttons, I do not see chgFingerMouse.exe as an option to map. Thanks.

Is there way to toggle between vibrate and full ringer with a single button? I know you can toggle between silent and full ringer, but wasn't sure if you could do the same thing for vibrate. I don't have a use for full silent

I had PocketNester working pretty well. It has an onscreen gamepad in fullscreen mode, which allows for good Dpad Movement... and using the keyboard for A + B buttons.
I was able to play Kirby pretty easy
I tried all of the Nintendo emulators out there and all had their quirks. I really miss the ease of the DPAD from the BJ1 with Nester. My question is which version of PocketNester are you running? I had played around with 0.7 (last updated in 2003) and was wondering if you have a newer version? More specifically a link to the actual app?
I have tried to go into Full-Screen mode and it cuts off the right side (must be 320x240) for me, does it do this to you also? I also tried to play Super Mario Bros and it froze up on me, had to yank the battery. Have you tried that particular ROM?

I believe the built-in hardkey mapper will map to applications with shortcuts in the Start Menu.
I suggest using this CAB Installer for chgFinderMouse, it automatically creates a shortcut for you in your Applications folder. Being a CAB file, it also provides an easy way to remove it if you want to get rid of it at some point.

Same here. Are you able to use the touchscreen control pad? Whenever I try to use it, as soon as I touch the screen, it just brings up the menu.
