Does anyone know why the FtouchSL setting is reverted back to "No' for Enable TouchSL?
I dunno. I never had it disable itself once I enabled it. Will it stay enabled or does it disable after a reset?
If it keeps disabling, you might want to check out "app unlocking" your Epix. Perhaps some AT&T setting is causing fTouchSL to default.

I've heard a few people change the clocks... but in doing so you'd have to have the graphic files which are suited for our resolutions of our screens. Since there aren't many 320x320 square screens out there, the variations might be limited. Some of the newer Palm Treos (Treo 850) have the same resolution, so try searching for Manilla advice for a Treo.
If you can find one that is "somewhat" close, you can edit the homescreen file to make minor adjustments accordingly. I've never changed the clock in Manilla2D or through TouchFlo3D on my Fuze.
Supposedly there are "Manilla Customizers" which will edit the required portions of the homescreen.xml file. I don't know how well it will work, so make sure you keep a backup. Manilla Customizers are designed to be installed on your phone.
After several days of trying to figure out why I can't get 2d going right I think I know the reason but not the fix. I have an i907 on which 2d is running but not 320x320 and this also leaves the icons half covered. When I copied blue theme I get a read only error and can't overwrite the xml. I assume since I haven't loaded the xml in the blue theme the screen set up is in there so I get the blank space on the right and covered icons.

Not sure if anyone here experiencing this with the Epix. I have it locked (holding down the red end key) and put it in my horizontal leather pouch, and three times it happenned that when I took the phone out, it was completely off, nohing on screen, no power, press any key or even hold the side power key does not turn it on. I had to remove the battery, put it back in then power it on. What I have installed are: the AppUnlock, PHM Regedit, WMA Profiles, M2DC, Skyfire,Vicsoft KeySwop,Resco file explorer, PocketCM Contact, FTouchSL, Samsung Silent Startup, Google Search, and chFingerMouse. I am no longer use M2DC Home screen but the Today Plus that comes with the phone. Any idea why it turned itself completely off and nothing works till battery removal? Thanks.

Are you still having this issue? I thought I'd throw my experiences out there. I have/had NO additional apps installed on my Epix and experienced the same thing multiple times. Here's what I've concluded. The phone "lock-up" only occurs when I have WiFi and wireless (3G/GPRS) active at the same time. I've run multiple tests and if I enable both, it'll soon lock up. If only one is enabled at a time, it works flawlessly. Very frustrating.

You can't update the manila 2d xml while it is running. Remove it from your today plugins and then re-enable after you have made your changes.

Do you have unlimited data? If so there is nothing to be concerned about.

I usually only run one or the other. I like to be certain how my traffic flows.
Wouldn't it be advisable to only run wifi when you are using it anyhow as it consumes a lot of power?
My Epix does not announce incoming e-mails or messages no matter what options I choose in Voice command. I am hearing in this forum that many people are getting these notifications but I am not. Also, should the Voice Command announce all incoming calls as well. My BJII did it. I dont get the notifications via bluetooth either. How can I activate this feature?
Just wanted to give some props to the Epix, I wasn't looking for a pda phone, don't really need one, and not buying the pda package so a lot here isn't for me as I have no plans to use it to connect to the internet, altho I think it sucks at&t has wifi blocked unless you buy the pda plan BUT I understand, why buy the cow if you get the milk for free. Back to the phone, for the 4 years I have lived here NO at&t phones worked "inside" my house, you can get a signal but a 5 min call is rare without a drop.
I've had the Epix for 5 days and have logged at least 12 hours on the phone without a single dropped call or even a say again you broke up and for me that is Fantastic. Battery life, the 1st day I played with it all day, and probably 4 or 5 hours talk time over the 2 days. It was on from 7am till midnight day 1 I turned it off then back on 7am day 2 and it died about 4 pm which I think was great.
Too thick, NOT, I have it sitting next to my Razor and it's about a business card thicker and about half an inch longer.

I have not had this problem for a while now. But I will try what you mentioned and let you know. Does it lock up immediately when you had both on? What I experienced was if it locked up and I had to remove the battery, then pressing and holding the power button to turn it on, when it comes back up, my phone still showed the 'unlock' left softkey which I thought so strange as it should not be in this mode till I press and hold the red end key. So I decided to change my setting that now I enable the wake up button to be 'power button only' instead of any button I had and I do not lock my phone by pressing the red end button any more but by pressing the power button to make it go to stand by. Not sure if this has any thing to do with the 'lock up' but I have not had this problem since.
