I don't understand the point of anyone ordering anything online.....It removes any possibility of you swindling some free stuff or getting the product cheaper. Sure online might be quicker but speaking to someone is just as easy.

Do we know if that will work for the Verizon one? I saw the 50 messages about unlocked GPS and all that, but nothing pertaining to what specific apps will talk to it properly. I don't know if the geotagging uses GPS, aGPS or whatever.....

played with 3 units all of which had different software, the last one and most up to date was sweet, tried to post on hofo but wouldnt load all of the way.
tried via my curve and similar results so it wasnt the unit.
gps locked on almost immediately! bbmaps works as well YES!!!
what I was able to load on hofo looked great, engadget as well cant wait for the final software release.
I work right next door to the Verizon store in Cupertino. 20735 Stevens Creek Blvd Ste E, not sure if that matters. But they're opening on the 21st at 7 AM PST, for those not in California. They are using the list of names they've got, to get an idea of how many to order for their store.

I was clearly talking about the phone itself.....if it wasn't clear I apologize but I definitely meant ordering the storm on the phone in response to the person who asked about ordering it online.

at this point noone knows so far they dont even have the final release of software in the phone
today one of my data peeps had to load new software when she received hers
so who knows

Anybody hear any rumors on 1 YEAR pricing for the STORM? They won't let me upgrade at the 2 year price unless i add a line. If i do that i will lose my number. All they will do is upgrade at the 1 year price which they said is not yet available.
