That sounds good, too. Does Costco give any type of deal for this?
Generally give you a bundle including a car charger, headset (unsure as to if its bluetooth) a case (some crappy leather one) and some other accessories.

I really don't want to pay the extra $29.99 to have this phone. But I have no option.

    OK I want
    1. at the least 250 voice minutes -- I use @ 200 on average.
    2. I do not need text message -- I don't text and I have incoming blocked.
    3. true unlimited data/internet -- this is the big factor with all this 250g & lower capping.

So what plan does this fit into?
I'm thinking the $79 BB nationwide E-mail plan, right?
the Blackberry E-mail plan for $44 doesn't work for the Storm?

Data is capped at 5GB no matter what. Though I believe it's a soft cap (or is that for USB Modems?). You can get the cheapest voice plan, which is advertised as 450 minutes for $39.99. So that's $69.99. I am fairly sure there is a $29.99 voice plan with 250 minutes, but you may need to call telesales or 611 to get it.
    WOW. Pudding...

Please list the names of these plans, so I know what to ask for..
    I think you are saying
    $39.99 = 450 min voice only
plus $30 for unlimited data with a 5g cap
Is that where you get $69.99??

also what speed is Verizon's 3g?

Yeah. It's 450 minute basic voice only plan. $29.99 Blackberry Internet and Email. So if you really don't txt, the whole thing is actually $69.98. EVDO Rev.A has DL of 600-1400 kbps, and UL of 400-800 kbps.
    Edit: Sorry. Nevermind.

Yeah, but most people who do use Blackberry's tend to use a lot of data on the go, not to mention constant emailing.

If you have the Vcast package now ($15 a month)...adding an additional $15 won't be so bad...assuming you'll use it.

Mail in rebate. And it comes in the form of a debit card. If you get a corporate discount on handsets, it should be $90 after rebate (the corp discount is supposed to be an extra $110 off).

When I got my first BB (the Pearl) and basically just used it to check email, I averaged about 8-10 MB of data per month. Now that I also occasionally use it for the web as well, I probably average less than 20 MB per month. Of course, this was also when it was just text email. With html email, I am sure that data usage will go up as you are also downloading all those html images.

I got an E-Mail tonight with a link to:
    http://www.getyoursmartphone.com/

When you enter in your zip code, it then takes you to another page saying they are accepting members in your area.
"By participating in our Incentive Promotion, the 2 BlackBerry Storms will be yours to keep.
Please provide shipping details for your 2 BlackBerry Storms"

It looks like a scam to me.
=> Read my reviews for the Samsung Droid Charge, HTC ThunderBolt, and Casio G'zOne Commando.

    => VX8000 at Disney World:Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.
