pricing is 200 after 50 MIR, my NE2 is 100, hence $100 for the storm via verizon, i also am suppose to get $50 off hardware thru my job and then MIR becomes instant rebate too. so i should get it actually @ $50 thru verizon
no, they said u hafta be at LEAST 22 months into ur contract to get it @ the $280 price w/ 2 yr contract renewal. they wouldn't even let me upgrade if i wanted to pay $280 b/c i'm only 19 months in (even tho i am eligible for NE2). they said they can't access ur account info. lol the guy actually asked me for VZW's customer care # so he could call to check my account status.. WTF?
Oh ok, that's just pretty stupid then...I'll just wait to go to verizon on friday so I can get it that day and not have to wait till it's shipped. By the way, it says on the site that the phone will not ship until the 21st so there really is not incentive, for me anyway, to purchase from best buy.

No gaurantees it will really ship overnight though, we'll have to wait till Tuesday to know for sure if it worked
Well, by page 7 on the crackberry site it is discovered that the Storm was not already in inventory at BB, and cannot be ordered now and shipped overnight to be delivered on Tuesday.
I am no longer an employee of VZW, I left on good terms and still think VZW is the best network in the U.S. and most helpful CSR's in any industry.

Yup, but a guy who works at Best Buy said they do price matching. So I don't know. I'll just pick up my deposit and carry on if not.
Does anyone really think there aren't going to be any phones available if we don't get there in the morning? Best buy doesn't open until 10 a.m. and I believe Verizon is going to open around 7 or 8 correct? I would be going to Best Buy first obviously. I just wish I knew more about pricing

A few things could get my order denied.
1) I am not eligible for an annual upgrade yet; I just got my Curve in March
2) I am the primary o on a family share plan - There is no option on BB to order only 1 phone on a family share plan, you have to upgrade both and seeing as how I did an individual (single line) upgrade since the secondary line has no need for a BB device and the minutes are not the same as the family share plan it may not be processed without approval.
3) I could not think of the account holders DL expiration year at the time, that should not matter since we are already have an account.
That being said I did hit next business day for delivery, they say it should ship the next business day......we will see. I did receive my order confirmation as well.

I've been a Verizon member for 12+ years and am due for a NE2 upgrade. When I added it to my cart and chose my package, I wasn't getting any MIRs, and the price was $279.99...whereas if I go into a Verizon store Friday morning, I can nab it for $149.99 out the door...
