Scored! just ordered 3 storms for family plan. primary line was eligible for upgrade but the two secondary were not eligible until may of 2009. talked nice to the csr who would check with supervisor to see if i could upgrade the two secondary lines. he got approval and i ordered 3 storms for shipment on friday. primary was 149.99 - 50.00 rebate and secondarys were 249.99 - 50.00 rebate. Can't wait!

Employees can only get it through the employee store and I imagine (like with all hot phones in the past) if the consumer demand grows too quickly, they'll cancel our orders.
I actually couldn't get my hands on a Dare until October.
Hopefully they've stocked enough this time.
Employee lines now order right from their MyVerizon online just like everyone else now.
I am no longer an employee of VZW, I left on good terms and still think VZW is the best network in the U.S. and most helpful CSR's in any industry.
I went by my local Verizon Store and Best Buy after work today. The Best Buy guy said they can't sell them until Sunday, even I pre-orders. I have one on pre-order and don't believe him. They did not have a Storm on display. The Verizon store had 3 people asking about it when I was there. They only had a dummy plastic phone to play with, no real one. I asked them if they knew how many they were getting. They said they think about 20, but definitely no more than 60. The way the rep looked at her co-worked when she said that told me right then they probably already have 60 in stock. She also said they have a lot of accessories in, but can't display them until Friday. They also will not have a demo phone to play with until Friday. Sux.

I wish i could be there to experience the whole process i am getting there at 5:00 but have to go to school at 6:30 so my grandma is going to continue the FUN process until 7 when the store opens and then she will bring it to me at school i just finished typing up very very detailed notes for her so she knows what to do when she is upgrading she isnt very technology savy
