I just want it now. It just sucks because I b itched and moaned to VZW for a NE2 and i got it. I settled on Curve but then i researched the Storm and found out it was coming out relatively soon. I don't see a point in spending $ to get an older device, when in fact a new one is coming out. this is torture- i can't stand this ******* enV2.

    Everyone,

I have some information that is somewhat related to this, but I'm not sure if it belongs in this thread or if I should start a new one. I have images of some documents that talk about verizon's "global service" and some of it specifically refers to the Storm and it's pre-installed sim card. Any thoughts about how/where to post them?

Here are 2 great reads on why we should wait patiently for the STORM...

Right now the Storm will enter a Royal Rumble against the iPhone (already beaten down with all those quirks) and now the supposed game-changer ...the G1...

These Forums are filled with a HUGE % of G1users negative comments and reasons why they are gonna return the device... just read this... I live in Boca Raton and I have a good relationship with the employees of the stores here...so far in a 10 mile ratio... 17 G1 have been returned to the stores...

these are the TMO news G1 tech support forum:

    http://forums.tmonews.com.s52300.gri...php?board=46.0

    and the G1 Reviews/feedback forum

    http://forums.tmonews.com.s52300.gri...php?board=43.0

If Verizon releases the STORM without working all out this are the kinds of threads we are gonna be reading until OS patches and workarounds come... lets have patience because right now the G1 debut is being received as a total FAIL... if Verizon comes out with a sleek one...

    Fellas please stay on topic.

Don't worry too much about that. Where do you think these guys get all their information? If there were any solid information we would know it first. Also remember what was said about the delay. How could there be a delay when there's no official launch date?

    -70.00
    -49.99
    _________
    100.00

then you get $100 off for NE2? Has that always been the case for regular customers (not discounted through a company) because both of our prices come to 99.99, but then you tell me NE2 automatically gets you -100?

Please let me know how this works-- there seems to be a little confusion on my end

Agreed - do you think they'll offer a Lifetime price for the service like they do with VZNav?

Also, I hope that Nov. 14 date is correct.
