Can the people that got the Storm flier post their locations?
Since we still haven't figured out what exactly people did to qualify for this promotion, it would be nice to see if it has to do with specific areas (like the VIP program) or if it's simply random.
Edit: Originally people on Crackberry were saying they weren't a part of the VIP program, but now some are saying that the VIP URL is on the card.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I understand these questions about specific Storm data plans. Why would there be anything specific to the Storm? The Storm is using the exact same data that the Curve and Pearl use, so why would Verizon have a specific Storm data plan? Are you guys thinking it will be cheaper? It seems to me that Verizon has never wanted to have device-specific plans, so why would this be any different?
Depends on if BB / VZ is going directly for the Iphone's throat. I myself never saw myself as wanting nor needing a BB, not needing enterprise support. I'm fairly certain Apple / AT&T never truly anticipated the iphone becoming a enterprise lvl device. Yet the Iphone just took J. D. Powers enterprise smartphone award.
It'd make sense for BB / VZ to try and use the Storm as a bridge back into the consumers. If the rumors are true, they're already going to attempt that with device price as that's the first thing the average consumer looks at. $199 pricing for a new contract would be below the Dare's pre-MIR $249 which is a consumer lvl device. Plans would be the next thing. And, not to talk about plans in the thread, some ppl are already balking at the extra price for services they never intend to use.
A consumer price plan would be the 2nd part of the bridge

We reallly need to keep the calling plan discussion out of this thread guys
* Bold or Storm. Bold or Storm . . . MEH, one of each for the best of both words!
* My iPod is a Blackberry STORM ;-)
* The Blackberry Storm 9530 (Verizon) DOES NOT have WiFi -- PERIOD! If that's a deal breaker for you then don't get the phone.
* Confused about Blackberry voice and data plans?

I will be happy to compile a list of specific questions (other than pricing and release date) from here to ask the BB reps, or check out specific features. If you will post in this forum, or send me a PM to be sure I get your question, I will be happy to post my findings to you so look for answers later this week.
CanAm,
Could you check to see if the audible click of the screen is the sound of the screen depressing or if it is a sound from the speaker, if the latter, I would assume the click sound could be turned off, which would be nice. This question hasn't been answered on any forums, reviews, or videos I have seen thus far and would be nice to know. If you remember, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I hope someone can answer this, I'm new to Blackberrys, but I noticed on a friends Curve that all the messages form missed calls to text messages go into one folder.
Since I use Yahoo for email is there a way to setup the Yahoo Mail on the Storm so only the Yahoo mail goes into that folder?

Also would it be on the main screen?
Thanks in advance.
You can if you pay for your yahoo POP3 mail. You are able to have upto 10 email accounts I think

There is no way to remove one email account from the main Messages box BUT there are also specific inboxes for each email account. You can view them separately that way. Messages appear in both and when a message is marked read or deleted the change is reflected in both.
Also I would not put it past Yahoo to make a BB specific email application something like the GMail one.
