so does anyone have any useful info? instead of each person calling CS? im just trying to keep up on this thread but i come back to 6 pages of cs told me this, or that, and bb rep told me this or that..
most people have their upgrades..or you can just open a 2nd line and switch everything over. sorry not trying to be a douche. just want facts..not he said she said stuff.
I know you all have not been believers, but I have spoken to CS 2x today and both times I was told full retail will be $369.00 I guess we will find out next week for sure though.
Impossible; that would make the retail price of the Pearl more.
Besides if you are speaking to Customer Service, you are speaking to the wrong group of individuals and are being handed misinformation.
If that is the case, go to one of these websites selling the Storm for $350 full retail and tell me if you ever receive it.
$249.99 for a 2yr and $369 full retail, no one would settle for the contract price if that was the case. $369 sounds more like a 1 yr price and they may be quoting that for you instead of the no contract price.
Telesales has the real pricing as they are taking pre-orders for shipment on the 21st. You can also look at Best Buy, $599, it will not be a $230 price difference between their full retail and that of another Verizon location; maybe $50 or not $230.
CSR told me $599, the other rumor is $369 which is incorrect.
i *think* mjbuzby works for vzw and looked up the retail price in the system. hopefully someone else that has access to the system and knows where to look can confirm.
I have an LG Dare and want to switch to the Blackberry Storm because of great calendar and other aps. I am not that familiar with Blackberry products and I've never had one because either they were too big or the smaller one didn't have a full qwerty. The Storm seems like a really great touch phone.
If you think the existing BB's like the Curve are too big, then you will be disappointed in the Storm. It will be a tad larger than the Curve.
This is something interesting a few of us noticed over at Crackberry. In this Vodafone instruction video about the Browser, notice the animated banner at the top of the website.

we can only go by what the CSR tell us, that's what i heard for a price TWICE when i called VZW. And again, I agree that price sounds ridiculously low for retail but I don't work for VZW so I can't argue with a CSR and honestly I'm not going to argue with any of you, but don't say the info we provided is "spam"
Thanks VZW E! no reason for me not to buy at full retail now! but sadly, from that pic it looks like people who pay retail do not get a mail in rebate.
Does the LACK of an * next to the full retail pricing on the screenshot above mean that the rebate isn't available if you pay full retail? That would seem pretty lame if so.
