Angry Motorola V265 CDMA & AMPS Sys IDs...HELP!

I just got two new cricket phones today for my husband and myself, and they're motorola v265's, and the OTA activation did not work, and I've tried it like ten times. I used to work at a call center for metroPCS and another for AT&T, so I should KNOW these codes, but I can't remember them.

If anybody knows the CDMA System ID and the AMPS System ID for Lexington, KY, or where I can find them without having to call Cricket (because I don't have access to another phone where I'm at, nor do I have a vehicle, and I'm 4 months pregnant and NOT walking to a store lol) it would be greatly appreciated. I've been fussing with these phones for two and half hours now, I've emailed Cricket with the problem, but I'm tired of waiting on an answer.

Also, it says my phone is not registered on the network, I'm assuming this is because it hasn't been activated yet. Oh, to still work at a call center!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks!

It's still not working, maybe I'm doing something wrong...

Here's what I've got showing after doing that whole PHONE# MENU MENU thing:

    MIN: which is my number
    IMSI_11_12: 00
    MDN: my number
    AMPS Sys ID: 0
    CDMA Sys ID: 0

I know this isn't right, but I can't seem to get the right codes to put in the right places....this has NOT been a good day for me lol, but thanks for trying to help...

Enter Menu>073887* quickly as possible. Then enter six 0's for security code, tap OK. Goto "User Activation">NAM1. Enter your # as MIN & MDN. Enter 04733 in AMPS and CDMA SIDs and tap done all the way out. See if it works now.....

I did exactly what you said, but it still says it's not registered to the network...this sucks! I always hated doing this crap at work too, lol.

It's still saying "No Service" and "Not Registered On Network" and "Activation Failed - Try Again?" It won't register on the network for some reason, even after all of that. *Sigh*

Thank you again for trying to help. I thought surely that would've fixed it. Ah well, I'll just have to wait til Saturday I guess, when I can go to the store. Grrrr....

I tried this, but it is still dailing Verizon's OTA, not Cricket. Is there anything else I have to change in the programming menu to get it to dial the right OTA?

Do you dial *228 for activation?

If so, try *22804. That should force the phone to look for Cricket's signal on the PCS "C" band for activation and ignore Verizon's signal.

You're welcome. Also thanks to Instantwill for posting the channel information for Cricket in Lexington.
