Hurray for the 903, heh. I've discovered Three Australia has fixed their streaming platform and now all their streaming videos work with the 903, so I now have some form of mobile TV with it, yay.

As for the Nokias, yes, the old Nokias of about five years plus or so ago were built far far better than today's ones, which are famous for having rubbish build quality. It's no surprise really, the kind of cost cutting they've gone through to remain profitable usually leads to things like this.

In that case, enjoy the screen. It's going to be a while before any maker makes it that big again.

well Toshiba looks they may be on the brink of making a 960 x 540 screen which their new platform supports. But still I would only classify that as FWVGA+ even thorugh it has more resolution. HXGA sounds so grand. I hope Sharp goes FWXGA some time

I just got the phone back from MM unlocking.
The battery is drained really quickly
And while i am talking on the phone, my face always manage to press the end button.
other than that, I am still exploring around.

of course. Relatively small battery and that massive HXGA screen is sucking the juice out of that thing

Are there any apps for the 931 similar to Google street view or google maps? I've seen those apps being used on the iPhone and it seems to make sense since it's great with a touchscreen...

There is, but it won't work outside Japan. No data access, after all. Can't download any apps to the phone except over the internet.

He/She's from Japan and uses Softbank as his carrier so he/she can probably access the internet

Do those mocks actually work (like your 921T) or are they the plastic ones they sell in Akihabara for 500 yen each?

I'm assuming they're not 'hot mocks'
