Contrary to popular belief I'm not really obsessed or in love with tofu as a food, sure its good and all but I'm not in love with it. Someone else typed this name for me when I was registering >_>

ps. For future reference just qoute me as Tofu instead of the whole name....sounds too cheesy LOL

Where? It's a Chinese version, yes? No global 3G or the possibility of global 3G = fail.

Of the two this most be the more likely to make it to the world market as it very much reflects the current vogue for large TS devices.

I assume the mysterious HTC Touch XD is going to be using the screen resolution too?

Unfortunately too many things sit on the frequency band that regular 2100MHz uses as uplink so it won't be happening. The only hope is for other countries to use, say, 850MHz (currently North America, Japan, and Australia use this so not much of a start), as the global band, or at least it would be nice to be able to narrow down to standard 2100 and 850.

Does it have the 1900? If so then 3G could work in the US

    Why would it have 1900? It's WCDMA/HSPA (2100) and global tri-band GSM (900, 1800, 1900). NO 3G other than on 2100.
