I'm curious to know where this is available at. Need to get me and Mrs. Guru each one.
I am more curious on how AT&T crippled it is..Originally Posted by Rcadden

Honestly, I played with for an hour before putting it up and I haven't noticed any restrictions that aren't on my unlocked E71. I wouldn't recommend playing embedded flash on the S60 browser, it will memory allocation fail you back to standby screen. Otherwise, the UI is responsive and the outer LCD with touch controls is fun. The rest is standard S60 fare. Icons are moveable, there's a choice of standby screens, themes, and standby shortcuts are customizable.Originally Posted by gwapz
There's no Download! or Ovi links, but that shouldn't be suprising.
I work for AT&T on the retail side in the Illinois/Wisconsin market, where it is 69.99 after MIR and data plan subscription. Prices vary by market and channel.Originally Posted by Rcadden
Confirmed that they're in store, $70 after a 2-year commitment and $50 MIR. $270 no contract (not bad, either, really).
Really.. Gotta test the phone to believe it..Originally Posted by attdude

Don't tell me AT&T had finally realize that S60 is a smartphone OS?
It's just a requirement in my market, I know for a fact not everyone does this, but to qualify for the rebate you have to have either a data plan, messaging plan, or a mix of any feature that adds up to $15.
However, the "proper" data plan is the $15 MediaNet. I don't think they treat it as a smartphone OS, all the custom apps are Java like on the dumbphone.
I re-edited my post to give a better preview of the phone, I don't see any locks on it, but I could be missing something.
AT&T's policy is that smartphones with QWERTY keyboards have to have the 'Smartphone connect' plan, whereas smartphones without don't. Silly, I know.
Just wait for it to hit Best Buy, Radio Shack, or similar, and snag it without the MIR nonsense.![]()
Thank God.. Got me worried there.. So Media Net $15 it is..Originally Posted by attdude
I've got an email in to my friends at iUnlock.com to see if they've spotted an unbranded firmware.
