I currently have a VX8600. I am considering selling it on ebay or something and buying the new Chocolate 3. Is it worth it? If I don't make the switch, I will be flashing my VX8600 to the US Cellular firmware which is very nice except for the fact that it does not work with sending Pix messages.

Flashing with kill the mp3 player on the vx8600, and Im not sure... but I think the chocolate will keep the mp3 after flash.. A little search in the LG forum will tell you more.

actually.thats not entirely true. I've flashed my phone over in the past and had everything working including the mp3 player.
