wow...look like virgin mobile is the best bang for your bux compare to tmobile & at&t
i just did a search for prepaid for virgin mobile...looks like u get more bang for your bux compare to tmobile and at&t...where the cheapest for tmobile is $.10/min and at&t is $.25/min. virgin cheapest plan is $.05/min. the only thing con i was able to find about it if you don't renew/add more min, your unused minutes will expires in 30 days where as for tmobile and at&t..if u purchased $100 minimum, your unused minutes won't expire until a year later. that is thte only bummer for me...but i'm still considering virgin mobile once i'm done with my tmobile prepaid. cuz i like how u can add text and data plan on virgin mobile...but i have a questions for ppl that are on virgin mobile:
1. how is their coverage nationwide in usa? specifically in large city like nyc?
2. is virgin mobile a gsm or cdma network? i have an unlock curve 8310 which i'm using on tmobile prepaid...can i use it on virgin mobile also?
3. i'm thinking of subscribing to their $5/5MB plan, will i be able to surf the web on my curve with it?
someone please let me know...thx in advance.

1) They use Sprint's network. Use the coverage check on Virgin Mobile's website.
2) Virgin Mobile uses Sprint which is CDMA. T-Mobile is GSM, so your unlocked phone will not work.
3) You cannot bring your own phone to Virgin Mobile. It must be a Virgin Mobile phone. Even if you could bring your own phone it would not work because your phone is GSM and Virgin Mobile uses a CDMA network.
