I've got a used Black Verizon Samsung Flipshot that I was still using until a few days ago, so you shouldn't have a problem activating it. Since it is impractical for you to see the phone in person I will say that the phone is definitely used, so don't expect a pristine phone. There are some scratches and scuff marks on varies parts of the phone. There isn't anything wrong with the phone, it works fine. If you do care contact me and I'll try to provide photos and a more detailed description.
Asking US$120 + shipping for phone package (phone, charger, box, manual etc) and will throw in a 4GB SanDisk microSD card with adapters (standard SD and mini SD) and a holster for US$20 more.
