unlock telus keybo lg 9100 i tried everything

i downloaded the the bitpim got the lg usb drivers i connect with the usb and i click no when it asks to sync the phone select the lg 9100 env 2 select auto or com 3 neither works then i go to file system and open the drop down menu and it lags for eva and then nothing. i have windows vista i think that is the problem am i doing something wrong. i have downloaded the recommended usb drivers and also some that are not i tried different versions of bitpim i have removed readded the programs. i am going out my ****ing mind. what am i doing wrong?

I wanted to upload my contacts from Gmail into my phone using the LG USB drivers and Bitpim. Took a while but I got it to work, thanks to the guys in the official 9100 thread. (Thanks!)

There are two keys to getting bitpim to work here.

1. When you connect the usb cable to your phone, and the phone says 'connect to PC?' or whatever, DON'T DO IT. Let it wait.

2. When you choose the 9100 in Pitpim's settings, don't tell Bitpim to detect your phone. immediately go to the filesystem, or the 'send to phone' or 'send from phone' icons.

Once you send to phone, it will likely reboot and, there you have it.

What do you mean "unlock" it? Put your own games on it? Read through the thread:
